During the week of May 18-22 all classes participated in the state mandated SAGE testing. Students who opted out took an alternate end of year test meant to measure students' understanding of the math standards of Secondary Math I.
In order to get used to the program, students were to get onto SAGE formative and run through a few benchmark reviews. To access these follow the instructions:
Go to http://sageportal.org/students/
Click on "SAGE Formative"
Login using your SSID. The password by default is also your SSID. If it is your first time, the program will prompt you to change your password. You can change it to whatever you want, but I recommend just keeping it as your SSID so you don't have another password to remember.
I don't have time to make a video of the solutions this time. Here are the answers though. Do the problem first, then glance at the answer to check your work. If you didn't get it, figure out how you could get to that answer.
In addition to collecting data, you'll need to make dot plots, histograms, and box plots to aid you in making conclusions about the data. The following links will aid you in getting these things done:
*You can also make histograms in Excel or Google Sheets.*
When you are done with your project you can either turn in a hard copy or download the file, edit it, and then email it to me at matthew.jones@jordandistrict.org
Only one video, but a bunch of the work was already done. I figured you didn't want to hear me count out how many numbers were in the interval 0-2, etc.
Instead of multiple 15 minute videos, I'll just include the answers this time. If you want a more detailed explanation, watch one of the videos from the SSS, SAS, ASA, or AAS assignments and watch those proofs.
