April 16-21 - MASTERY PROJECT Univariate Data
All classes are doing a Mastery Project instead of a Mastery Quiz. Click on the following link to get the file:
Mastery Project - Univariate Data
In addition to collecting data, you'll need to make dot plots, histograms, and box plots to aid you in making conclusions about the data. The following links will aid you in getting these things done:
Box Plots
The following generates box plots that you can copy and paste. (You need to use "Paste Special")
http://www.imathas.com/stattools/boxplot.html
This also generates box plots, but they are vertical:
http://www.alcula.com/calculators/statistics/box-plot/
Histograms
The following makes a histogram for you. After it is made you can edit things about it (like interval size)
http://www.socscistatistics.com/descriptive/histograms/
*You can also make histograms in Excel or Google Sheets.*
When you are done with your project you can either turn in a hard copy or download the file, edit it, and then email it to me at matthew.jones@jordandistrict.org
